Welcome to Effit By using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Use, which outline your rights and responsibilities when using the app. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Effit, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the app.

2. Eligibility

To use Effit, you must be at least 14 years old. If you are under the legal age of consent in your country, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to use the app.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. User Conduct

  • You agree not to post any content that is unlawful, offensive, or violates the rights of others.

  • You must not engage in any activities that could harm other users, the app, or violate applicable laws.

  • You are solely responsible for any interactions and agreements made with other users, including activity goals and any consequences. Effit app or AccountAble App Pty Limited is not a party to any Contracts or Agreements made between you and other Effit Users.

5. User-Generated Contracts

Any contracts entered into between users, including those related to activity Goals and Forfeits, are NOT legally binding through Effit. These are private agreements, and we do not enforce or validate their terms. You agree to this in acceptance of the Terms of Use and also enter into a Covenant Not to Sue for any non-performance of default on any Contract or Agreement.

Note, Users are advised to be cautious when setting their Goals and Forfeits. It is the intention of the app to get people active and stay active through regular intentional exercise. Goals should be attainable and not place the User in any undue harm of physical, mental or financial risk. Similarly, whilst Forfeits are a better motivator when it is something you don’t want to do, we strongly encourage all Effit Users to think carefully about their Forfeit and ensure the chosen Forfeit does not place the User in undue harm of physical, mental or financial risk.


6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you create or share through the app. However, by posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license in perpetuity to use, modify, and display your content in connection with the app's services.
